Risk Management/Loss Control Program
The Risk Management/Loss Control Program provides members with specific and individual assistance with establishing and implementing comprehensive health and safety and emergency preparedness plans.
Risk Management
The risk management portion of the program offers techniques for continuous and proactive identification, analysis and evaluation of activities that lead to losses. The health and safety plan outlines the policies and procedures for municipal work environments, including detailed job hazard analyses, training timelines, department inspection forms and document retention recommendations. The emergency preparedness plan provides cities with information on how to be prepared for emergencies such as active-shooter scenarios, bomb threats, cyberterrorism, tornadoes, and chemical and biological threats.
